The GFL Bowl (formerly called the German Bowl prior to 2024) is the annual national championship game in the sport of American football in Germany. It is contested by the two best teams of the German Football League, formerly called American-Football-Bundesliga (1979-1999).
However, due to the various teams involved and the use of Promotion and Relegation between the GFL, GFL2 and the various regional leagues, I have made the decision to not include divisional alignments and the various teams promoted and relegated each season as it is often difficult to find information about the helmets for the newer teams. Instead, I will include recent appearances by these teams.
