Leicester Stallions |
Leicester Stallions represent Leicestershire region, the largest city in the East Midlands and lies 21 miles from Nottingham which means their main rivals are the Sherwood Forest Outlaws (Nottingham).
Their name comes from the Baltimore Stallions who played as part of the CFL's USA expansion in the 1990s and played from 1994-1995 in which they become the only non-Canadian team to win the Grey Cup. Their helmet is loosely based on the
Stallion's helmet as well as similar colours used by the Leicester City FC team that uses the stadium.
They are members of the Central Division and compete for a place in the Southern Conference Playoffs.
