BRITISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE (stylised as #BFLers, 'BFL' or #BFL) kicked-off in 2015 and is a fantasy football league to my love of the game of Gridiron Football and the NFL. Alex Thomas is the BFL Commissioner and the BFL does not own the rights to the teams and their logos and are used for entertainment purposes only. Learn more here.
SEASON
The BFL hosts teams in England (9), Scotland (2) and Wales (1). Both Caledonian Knights (Glasgow) and Sherwood Forest Outlaws (Nottingham) joined as expansion teams in 2019 and both Merseyside Centurions (Liverpool) and Thames Valley Thunder (Milton Keynes) joined in 2021.
Future expansion teams are yet to be confirmed but are being actively considered here.
SEASON
The BFL follows the NFL's regular season Weeks 1-13 and the playoffs NFL weeks 14-16. The top 3 per division make the playoffs with the champions crowned at the BFL Championship Game. Currently the hosts for all Championship Games have been confirmed up to and including the 2027 season.
Final standings are announced following Week 13.

2024 BFL Season NFL affiliates were announced following Week 18 on 8th January 2024.
