Sheffield Surge |
Sheffield Surge represents the South Yorkshire region of England that also includes the cities of Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham. Their main rivals are the Yorkshire Vikings (Leeds).
The Surge get their name from the World League of American Football's Sacramento Surge who played from 1991-1992 with its logo colours changed from yellow
and green to red and yellow which are similar to those of the Sheffield Eagles.
They are members of the West Division and compete for a place in the Northern Conference Playoffs.
