Humberside Destroyers represents the East Yorkshire region including the city of Richmond-Upon-Hull (known as Hull) and play at the home of Hull FC Super league team that plays Rugby League. Their main rivals are the cross-town Yorkshire Vikings in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Hull will host the 2029 Championship Game.

The Destroyers are partly inspired by the Virginia Destroyers name of the original United Football League, that played between 2009-2012, but using the colours of Hull FC but using a revised New York/New Jersey Hitmen (XFL 2001) logo .
