As per BFL Rules, teams only officially play a 'schedule' until the playoffs, therefore each team is designated a rival for the Division Playoffs of which the below Rival Bowls apply to the Division Finals only.

All BFL founding members (Birmingham Bandits, London Monarchs, Manchester Demons, Scottish Claymores, Sussex Pirates, Tyneside Mariners, Welsh Dragons & Yorkshire Vikings) and expansion teams (Caledonian Knights, Merseyside Centurions, Sherwood Forest Outlaws and Thames Valley Thunder) have played in the playoffs.
Scottish Claymores have won 4 consecutive Championship Games (2016-2019) and Birmingham Bandits have won 2 consecutive Championship Games (2015-2016).
Tyneside Mariners ended their longest post-season drought of 4 seasons in 2020, a record for both the team and the BFL, with their last appearance being in the 2015 season.
