Canadian Football League's modern era began with the 1954 season with the first CFL season starting with the 1958 season.

Each team plays 2 pre-season games,in May-June,before competing in a 18-game/21-week regular season including 3 bye weeks,between June and November. The regular season is followed by the Grey Cup Playoffs which end in November with the Grey Cup.
