Ottawa RedBlacks
Ottawa RedBlacks (Ottawa,ON) became the 3rd Ottawa based team in recent years,following the Ottawa Rough Riders (who folded following the 1996 season) and the Ottawa Renegades (who folded following the 2005 season). A dispersal draft was held prior to the 2006 season and the Ottawa CFL franchise was put up for sale,with the league wanting a team to eventually return to the city.
In 2016,the RedBlacks won the 104th Grey Cup,which ended a 40-year Grey Cup championship drought for the city of Ottawa.
