TEAMS
Scottish Claymores

Scottish Claymores are based in the capital city of Edinburgh, Scotland but can draw its fans from all over Scotland and its main rival is the Caledonian Knights. However, Yorkshire Vikings have become another key rival having beaten them in the playoffs in 2016-2019. They also have built a cross-divisional rivalry with the Birmingham Bandits, having played them in the BFL Championship Game (2016-2018).

They play at the home of both Scottish Rugby Union and Edinburgh Rugby. Murrayfield is the largest stadium in Scotland and 5th largest in the UK with a capacity of 67,144. It played host to the NFL Europa's Scottish Claymores and shared its games between Murrayfield and Glasgow's Hampden Park, where the new Caledonian Knights play their games.

Edinburgh hosted the 2016 Championship Game.

The Claymores get their name from the unrelated NFL Europa's Scottish Claymores who played in 1995 and 2004 who played in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

As of 2021, the Claymores have appeared in both the playoffs (2016-2018,2021) and the Championship Game (2016-2019,2021) 5 times each. They are the most successful BFL team with 5 Championships.
