Welsh Dragons

Welsh Dragons represent the country of Wales and its capital city of Cardiff. Their main rivals are the London Monarchs.

They play at the home of both Welsh Rugby Union and Football Association of Wales, which is also the 2nd largest indoor stadium in the world after AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium in Arlington, TX, largest in Wales with a capacity of 74,500.

Cardiff hosted the 2017 Championship Game.

The team name originates from the Dragon being represented on the Welsh flag. The team helmet is based on the defunct Arena Football League's New York Dragons who played from 2001-2008.

Since 2022, the Dragons have appeared in the playoffs 6 times and once in the 2019 Championship Game, losing to the Scottish Claymores 23-12.
