London Monarchs represent the capital of England and the largest city in the UK. Their main rivals are the Sussex Pirates and Welsh Dragons.
They play at the home of the English National football (soccer) team, annual FA Cup and association football competitions called Wembley Stadium which is also the home of the NFL International Series since 2007 with a capacity of 84,000 for American Football and the largest stadium in the UK and 2nd largest in Europe.
London hosted the inaugural 2015 Championship Game and BFL Bowl X (2024).
The team is inspired by the original London Monarchs who played in the World League of American Football from 1991-1992 and 1995-1997 and winner of World Bowl I.
Monarchs have appeared in the playoffs 3 times (2019,2021,2022) and twice in the BFL Championship Game(2021,2022) and winning the title in 2022.
