Sherwood Forest Outlaws

Sherwood Forest Outlaws represent the city of Nottingham but also Nottinghamshire county and it is a very important site for ancient oaks, wood pasture, invertebrates and fungi, as well as being linked to the legends of Robin Hood. Their main rivals are the Birmingham Bandits in the Midlands.

They play at the home of the Notts Forest Football (soccer) team.

Nottingham will host the 2023 Championship Game.

The team is called the 'Outlaws' after the Robin Hood legend and their helmet is inspired by the alternative helmet used by the Cincinnati Bearcats college football team. In 2021, a redesigned logo was introduced to represent the legend more.

Both Outlaws and the Caledonian Knights became the first expansion teams to both appear in the playoffs and the Championship Game. Outlaws won the 2020 Championship Game.
