The Host is on a divisional rotation from 2016-2029 as per the division team hosting, with the 1st game hosted by London, when all BFL teams will have hosted the game. From 2031, the reigning BFL Champions will host the game.
The designated home team is on divisional rotation, except in 2024 (10th anniversary) the team with the best record will be the designated home team.

From 2016-2023 (8 seasons), a Scottish team (Caledonian Knights and Scottish Claymores) has appeared in every Championship Game, of which the Claymores have won 4 and the Knights have yet to win.
