British Conference
The British Conference was introduced for the 2025 BFL season as part of the league’s move to a two‑conference structure. It consists of the North Division and West Division, each containing four teams.
Before 2025, the North Division operated independently and held its own postseason, which was merged into the new conference format when the British Conference was created.
Conference Champions
Conference playoffs
Prior to 2025, the postseason used a divisional format. From 2015–2018, the top two teams played in the Division Final (#2 @ #1). From 2019–2024, the structure expanded to a Division Semi‑Final (#3 @ #2) followed by a Division Final hosted by the Division Champion.
In 2025, this system was replaced by the Conference Semi‑Finals (#4 @ #1 and #3 @ #2), with the winners advancing to the Conference Championship.
Dates listed on the Conference Playoffs pages, including the BFL Bowl, follow the NFL season schedule. Updates on the BFL site may occasionally be delayed due to time‑zone differences.

Both the 2025 British Conference - Semi-Finals used NFL Week 11 Game results to decide scores due to both Tyneside and Merseyside hacing their NFL affiliates Chargers and Broncos having Week 12 bye weeks.
