Teams, split into regions of North-West (Manchester Demons & Merseyside Centurions) and Yorkshire (Sheffield Surge & Yorkshire Vikings), compete for a place in the British Conference Semi-Finals (formerly called the North Division Semi-Final) made up of the West Division champions hosting the team with the next best record and the winners then playing in the British Conference Championship (formerly called the North Division Final). No West Division team has won a BFL Championship of which only the Manchester Demons have made 2 appearances.
New logos and helmets were introduced by the Manchester Demons (2025 & 2026), Merseyside Centurions (2025 & 2026), Sheffield Surge (2025) & Yorkshire Vikings (2025).
