United Conference
The United Conference was introduced for the 2025 BFL season as part of the league’s move to a two‑conference structure. It currently consists of the Central Division and South Division, each containing four teams, and will include the Scottish Division in 2028.
Two Division Champions and the two next best teams play in the Conference Playoffs.
Before 2025, the South Division operated independently and held its own postseason, which can be found under the South Division Playoffs section.

Conference Champions
Conference Playoffs
The Pre-United Conference playoffs can be found under the South Division Playoffs section.
In 2025, this system was replaced by the Conference Semi‑Finals (#4 @ #1 and #3 @ #2), with the winners advancing to the Conference Championship.
In 2026, Division Champions will get the top seeds, followed by the wild card teams with the next best records regardless of division.
From 2028, the top three Division Champions will get seeds #1-3, followed by three wild card teams with the next best record regardless of division.
Dates listed on the Conference Playoffs pages, including the BFL Bowl, follow the NFL season schedule. Updates on the BFL site may occasionally be delayed due to time‑zone differences.
Conference Wild Card Playoffs (2028-)
This is made up the #3-#6 seeds, featuring the lowest seeded Division Champion plus Wild Cards teams.
Conference SEMI-FINALS (2025-)

From 2025-2027, this is made up of the top 4 seeds, featuring the two Division Champions, who also host, and the two teams with the next best record.
From 2028, this is made up of the top 2 seeds, mad eup of the two Division Champions, who host the two Conference Wild Card Playoffs Winners.
