United Conference
Coast Division (2028)
The Coast Division will become part of the United Conference for the 2028 BFL season, made up of the Avon Fire and Sussex Pirates along with two expansion teams Devon Breakers and Hampshire Admirals. Both the Fire and Pirates will join this new division from the South Division. Teams are solely based in coastal cities/regions.
Division Champions and the three next best teams in the British Conference compete for a place in the United Conference Playoffs.

Avon Fire is named after the River Avon that flows through the area and represents the county boroughs of Bristol and Bath, and the counties of Gloucestershire and Somerset. It uses the resurrected nicknamepreviously used by the defunct Rhein Fire NFL Europe team that played from 1995-2007 but unrelated from the resurrection of that same team for the European League of Football from 2022-2025 and subsequently joining American Football League Europe (AFLE) in 2026. The previous logo was the NFL Europe logo and then modernised to a fire-styled letter 'A' to differientiate it from the active American Football team.

Devon Breakers (2028) are inspired as being recognised as a great location in the UK for surfing as it has consistent swell year-round, making it ideal for surfers of all levels. Its name is also inspired by the name used by the original USFL (1983-1985) and the most recent version USFL (2022-2023). They play at the home of association football team Plymouth Argyle F.C..

Hampshire Admirals (2028) are inspired by the naval history and a significant port since the Roman occupation of Britain nearly two thousand years ago. The city has been a center for naval shipbuilding and a departure point for soldiers going to war as well as played a role in the development of hovercraft, flying boat services, seaplanes, and the Spitfire fighter plane. Before the advent of jet travel, Southampton was Britain's gateway to the world. The port also contributed to the history of Britain's canals. Southampton's maritime history is a testament to its enduring connection to the sea and its pivotal role in global seafaring. Its name is inspired by the defunct NFL Europe team Amsterdam Admirals that played from 1995-2007. They play at the home of association football team Southampton F.C..

Sussex Pirates covers both East and West Sussex counties of which Brighton is the largest city in the region. Pirates name is derived from the known practice of pirates hiding their treasures along the south coast of England to evade authorities. Furthermore, nearby Peacehaven, East Sussex references this in the name of the The Smuggler's Rest which is well worth the visit if you are in the area.
